| Entry 16: Reriang Last Wednesday’s night, there were a lot of people in my room. They came in my room for study and online because wifi in my room fasterly. While my roommate, Aisyah busy memorized Biology for her examination, suddenly an insect perched on her bed. Therefore, she screamed and run away from our room. We were very shocked and want to know what happened to her. She told us that she saw something a weird insect. So, all of them also run away from my room except me and my classmate, Hanisa. I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw they did a funny action like that. They screamed and I think the people in other rooms can heard their scream. The insect is very weird and I never saw it before this. However, I must tried to remove the insect from my room. But it was very difficult because the insect was flying. I opened the door to make the insect flew out from my room. Finally, I succeed to remove the insect and they entered into my room. We were laughing when we remembered that incident. My classmate, Hanisa told me that insect is Riang-riang. Riang-riang??? What is that?? Weird ! So, I check in google to know what is Riang-riang or Reriang. Reriang are insects of the order Hemiptera, suborder Auchenorrhyncha, in the superfamily Cicadoidea, with large eyes wide open on the head and usually transparent wings. There are about 2,500 species worldwide Reriang, and many more have not been classified.
